Welcome to the Tulsa Fire Museum History Group
We’re just getting started, and you’re part of the beginning!
Welcome to the Tulsa Fire Museum History Group, a new community space where we’ll be gathering stories, photos, and research about Tulsa’s fire service, from the earliest hand-drawn hose carts to today’s modern stations.
In time, this group will grow into a living archive of Tulsa’s firefighting history, built through the contributions of retired firefighters, families, historians, and museum volunteers who want to help preserve it.
Right now, we’re laying the groundwork. As we begin to upload images and create research threads, we’ll organize them by project tags and invite verified contributors to share what they know.
What You Can Expect Soon
Photo galleries from the museum archives
Research projects you can help with (identifying people, equipment, and events)
Highlights from the “Hall of Chiefs” and major milestones in Tulsa’s fire history
Want to Get Involved? If you’d like to become a contributor, you can click the Request to Join button and complete the questionnaire. Everyone is welcome to explore, comment, and help keep Tulsa’s fire story alive.
Thank you for joining us at the very start. Every great archive begins with its first few pages, and we’re excited to write them together.
